4 Ways We Give Kids an Advantage in Life

Mastery's Mission and Purpose

Everyone is capable of becoming a black belt. This is something that is at the core of our philosophy here at Mastery Martial Arts. We strive to help all of our students to find the strength and the discipline that they need to master themselves and their world. This means helping our students to become stronger mentally, physically, emotionally and socially.

Martial arts is about more than just physical movement, more than just self defense, more than forms or weapons or fitness. The reason that people have been doing this for more than a thousand years is because there is the opportunity to create a whole life foundation.

Here's what a whole life foundation means in martial arts:

Mentally

Physically

Emotionally

Socially

What this Foundation Means for Your Child

The mastery of mental, physical, emotional and social self means that your child will have a distinct advantage in life. In all life, not just when it comes to sport or self defense. While nothing guarantees your child's future success, as parents the most that we can do is to give them the best tools possible to master their own lives. That's what we're building at Mastery Martial Arts.

What Makes Us Stand Out

The common thread throughout martial arts training, no matter how good a teacher might be, is that students will progress in physical strength through training simply because our bodies respond to the physical nature of the activity. What is not common are the mental, emotional and social developments that come through good quality martial arts training.

Martial arts is about so much more than just making strong bodies! It's about fostering the kind of people that we want our children to be.

One of the things that separate Mastery Martial Arts from other schools is that we do foster growth in all of the areas of human development, not just in the physical facet of it. We train our students not just to be healthy physically, but to be black belts in every sense of the phrase.
