Does my child need any experience?

No. Most children start with no experience at all. The Introductory Lesson is private and taught at your child's pace, so beginners are never behind.

Is there any obligation after the introductory experience?

What happens during the Introductory Lesson?

It's a private, one-on-one lesson. We get to know your child, teach a few basics at their pace, and finish with a small success they can be proud of.

Ages 3 through 14, in age-specific classes: Tiny Tigers (3–4), Little Dragons (5–6), Kids Leaders (7–9), Pre-Teen Leaders (10–12) and Mastery Teens (13+).

No. Every class is built for one age group, so the pace, expectations and challenges fit where your child is developmentally.

Most children do well training twice a week. One class a week is a fine start, and unlimited training suits families who want more.

How much do kids martial arts classes cost?

Tuition is $149/month for 1x per week, $249/month for 2–3x per week, and $299/month for unlimited training.

How does the 30-Day Pass reduce tuition?

Accepted Answer

Enroll at the conclusion of your child's private Introductory Lesson and the value of your 30-Day Pass reduces tuition by $50/month for as long as they continue training. If you choose to enroll later, regular tuition rates will apply.

Any training equipment requirements depend on your child’s program and progress. The team reviews what is required, what is optional and any cost before you enroll or purchase anything. Belt-testing fees and timing are reviewed before enrollment. Confirm the current details for your child’s program with the school before you decide.

What is the membership commitment?

Real development takes consistency. When your family chooses to enroll, your child begins with a 6-month Mastery membership. The first and last monthly payments are due at enrollment, and your child’s Mastery uniform is included. Six months gives your child time to settle in, build relationships, practice consistently, experience progress and begin collecting real evidence of what they are capable of.

What if my child has to miss time?

Mastery memberships are not paused. If your child needs to miss an extended period of training, we can add training time to the end of the agreement so they still have the opportunity to complete the training they committed to.

When are the membership terms reviewed?

Before you decide to continue, the school reviews the 6-month Beginner membership agreement, billing and cancellation terms with you in person. There is no obligation to continue after the free 30-day experience.

The journey to Black Belt takes a minimum of approximately three years — but that is not a decision your family has to make today. You do not need to make a Black Belt decision today.

Do I have to stay during class?

You are always welcome to stay and watch. Many parents do; if you would rather sit back and observe quietly, that is welcome too.
