Every day our Children have Life events.
Hundreds or even thousands of Life Events each day.
An Event is defined as something they experience and attach an emotion to it.
- lonely
- heartbroken
- gloomy
- disappointed
- hopeless
- grieved
- unhappy
- lost
- troubled
- resigned
- miserable
- happiness
- love
- relief
- contentment
- amusement
- joy
- pride
- excitement
- peace
- satisfaction
- compassion
Each event is categorized in your child’s brain as a Success or Failure.
Most of the time they aren’t even aware of it.
Each of these categorized events has an emotion attached to it.
Most kids attach negative emotions to failure.
And over a long period of time, they will have MORE negative emotions programmed into their life than they do positive.
Helping your child learn to attach positive emotions to more events in their life is key to a happier life.
Can we help our Children attach a happy emotion to a Negative event?
At Mastery, our students learn that Failure is an opportunity to learn.
That it’s not their identity, but an opportunity to learn something and learn something about themselves.
When they see it, feel it, and understand this at an emotional level they can be more aware of it.
Then they can see it as a challenge to overcome and improve.
We call this the Yes I Can mindset.
Teaching your Child to BELIEVE in themselves is one of the Most Powerful emotions a child can learn early in life.
It’s the very first thing a Beginner student learns about Mastering themselves.
Martial arts classes are great for kids.
They are even better when the Instructors teaching your child are Emotional Development Experts 🙂
