Mastery Martial Arts Demo Team Rocks 10,000 Fans at Providence College Halftime Show

For more than a decade, the Mastery Martial Arts Demo Team has had the honor of performing at one of Rhode Island’s biggest stages — the

Providence College Men’s Basketball halftime show at the iconic Amica Mutual Pavilionin downtown Providence, RI.

This year was no different — and once again, our students delivered an unforgettable performance in front ofover 10,000 fans.

From flying kicks to high-energy choreography, synchronized forms, and powerful board breaks, these young leaders didn’t just perform…

They owned the moment.

A Decade of Performing for Providence College Basketball

For the past 10+ years, Mastery Martial Arts has proudly partnered with Providence College Friars to bring high-energy martial arts demonstrations to thousands of fans during halftime.

What started as a single opportunity has become a tradition — one that our students train for all year.

Every time the Demo Team steps onto that court, they’re representing:

  • Their schools

  • Their families

  • Their communities

  • And the power of discipline, confidence, and leadership

Performing at a major Providence sports venue isn’t just exciting — it’s a life-changing experience for these kids.

From Local Dojo to Big-Stage Performance

Our Demo Team students train week after week across our Rhode Island and Massachusetts Mastery Martial Arts locations, including:

  • Providence area

  • Warwick

  • Johnston

  • Smithfield

  • East Greenwich

  • Barrington

  • Cumberland

  • North Attleboro

They don’t just learn martial arts skills.

They learn how to:

  • Perform under pressure

  • Stay focused in high-energy environments

  • Lead with confidence

  • Represent themselves with pride

  • Handle nerves and turn them into excitement

When you step onto a court in front of 10,000 people, that’s not just martial arts training.

That’slife training.

More Than a Performance — A Leadership Moment

What makes Mastery Martial Arts different is that these performances aren’t just about kicks and flips.

They’re about helping kids:
